Easy Dinner Dishes from Minnesota Miranda

As a busy mom of four I am on the constant search for quick and easy to prepare meals for our family. One of our family favorites passed down over the years has been quick and easy hamburger hotdish. This quick dinner can be prepared and ready to serve in a mere 20-30 minutes. A quick tip for boiling water faster, add a dash of salt and cover your pot, this will reduce your prep time. A very delicious meal, Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  2. 3 – 4 cups elbow macaroni
  3. 1 can diced tomatoes
  4. 1 can tomato sauce
  5. 1 can tomato soup
  6. 1 tbsp beef base
  7. 1 cup ketchup
  8. salt
  9. pepper
Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling water on high.
  2. Brown hamburger & diced onion over medium/high heat.
  3. Add elbow macaroni to boiling water, boil over medium heat
  4. Add tomato paste, tomato soup, tomato sauce, ketchup, and beef base to cooked hamburger, cover, reduce heat to simmer and stir regularly.
  5. Drain macaroni, return to pan, stir in hamburger sauce.
  6. Serve warm, salt and pepper to taste, Enjoy!
Vegetable Side Dish Suggestions
  1. Organic Frozen Corn, cover with hotdish (cools food quickly for children)
  2. Organic Corn
  3. Sliced Raw Carrots
  4. Sprinkle with Cheese
