    Rebecca, you have no idea how many resorts are in the area, those are just the listings within the city and very close by. Detroit Lakes has over 400 lakes within 25 miles of the town and countless resorts and cabin rentals within that area!

    Ellen, Detroit Lakes and the surrounding area is PERFECT for summer vacations as it is our most busy season! There is always something to do and who can so no to all the sun and sand! Big Detroit Lake city beach is over a mile long of sugar sand fun!
