In our house we eat a lot of pasta, as a family of six it is the one staple food fixture that can fill our large family up for an amazing price. A couple years ago we quit buying spaghetti sauce and my husband began making our own homemade spaghetti sauce. It is amazingly delicious and the entire family loves the recipe.
I cannot make the sauce so I usually buy jarred spaghetti sauce from the store. I have tried wide varieties of sauces and always seem to have to tinker with the taste and add more to the sauce to get it just the way I want. I am always searching for the perfect jarred sauce for the times my Husband is unable to cook his homemade spaghetti sauce. Last week while grocery shopping at Wal-Mart we turned into the pasta aisle to stock up on our many different pastas and large supply of Parmesan cheese when a new jar caught my eye. I have never noticed it before and when I picked it up the ingredients were so simple and the sauce looked delicious. I put the jar in the grocery cart and headed home to cook up a batch of spaghetti so I could taste it right away!
Victoria Trading Company Tomato Basil Sauce is AMAZING! It was so delicious! I brought it up to a hot bubble, lowered the heat to simmer and then covered for about 15 minutes. It was absolutely perfect. It is the perfect amount of flavor with a nice subtly of basil and smooth garlic. It is the perfect blend of sauce and chunky with small plum tomatoes.
Since that night I have had pasta 3 times and garlic bread with sauce dip. I am hooked! This truly is an amazing spaghetti sauce. The jar size is 25 oz. equaling roughly 6 servings per jar at ½ cup serving size.
It is also reasonably priced at $3.48 a jar. Price wise this fits right in the middle. There are a lot of spaghetti sauces that are cheaper priced but I can personally vouch they do not compare in taste!
I highly recommend tasting Victoria Trading Company Tomato Basil Sauce available at Wal-Mart and other grocery stores as well as online.

Awesome! I’m always looking for the perfect jarred sauce too. We’ve always made our own until the last few years when it just seemed way more convenient to just buy the jarred stuff. I’ll have to check it out at our local Walmart (Canada).

I have never tried this sauce before but think I will add it to the list. My husband loves spaghetti and he will be thrilled to have a new sauce to try try.
I’ve found many brands that are workable for me. And anything is great with a splash of red wine. LOL But glad you found something that works right off the shelf and tastes great! (Now I want garlic bread!)
