1. Elisebet @ My Life: A Work in Progress – Wow that’s a tough one! There are so many great movies out there. If I had to narrow it down to only one, I would have to choose The Family Stone. The movie is about a family gathering for their annual Christmas celebration. The movie is filled with ups and downs that is bound to happen with a large family during the holiday’s from meeting a girlfriend, dealing with cancer, family drama and so much more. It will make you laugh and cry but by the end, the movie will touch your heart and soul!
2. Dede – I would have to say the little Christmas tree ornament over my right shoulder between the piano and my shoulder.
3. Kimberly @ Saving More Than Me – Minnesota is awesome, for the most part. There is plenty of outdoor recreation and living in the “lakes area” means I am surrounded by lakes having over 200 in a 50 mile radius from where I live! I live nearly 5 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The biggest city near me is Fargo, ND with a population of roughly 105,000 but with its twin city on the MN side the metropolitan is roughly 208,777. Nothing compared to Minneapolis/St. Paul Twin cities. Winters are cold and typically filled with wet, heavy snow (not so much the past two years, we just finally had snowfall that stuck last week), winter recreation is filled with skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and hockey. Summers are hot and humid, very humid. The humidity is the kicker, dry heat would be so much easier to bear. Minnesota is filled with small towns and even the big cities have that small town feel. I would like to clarify though, ignore the movies, we are not nearly as bad as they portray. The movie New in Town with Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. is filled with stereotypes and we are not nearly as bad and we DO NOT talk like that!
4. Jamie Nicole – My favorite children’s book would have to be The Real Mother Goose. I had this book as a child and love it so much! I recently ordered a copy for my kids and can’t wait to read the stories to my kids. It is such an amazing classic; it should be in every home! My runner ups would have to be Where the Sidewalk Ends and A Light in the Attic by Shel Silverstein.
I checked the other post, and I don’t think anyone asked this yet: “What’s your favorite movie and why?” I like this idea, by the way!
