Hello readers. I’m sick, sick as a… well, I don’t know. Some would say the quote goes “sick as a dog”, but how is that sick? How is ones dog sick? Let’s see……………
I’m Sick = runny nose, fever, cough, phlegm, stuffed nose, head ache, sneezing, body aches, shakiness, overall irritability, lack of smell and taste and a voice that sounds like I’m 70 and it’s 6am.
When my dogs are sick = shit in the kennel, shit in the living room, shit in the laundry room, shit in my husbands office, shit in the yard. Then there’s the puking, dog puke always seems to start in one of two places, the kennel or any carpeted area of my house. When a dog pukes it starts with 1 or 2 minutes of strange intervals of gagging and heaving ending with a loud cough and a horrendous mess to clean!
Well I don’t know about you but I am definitely NOT sick as a dog! I don’t think I have ever been sick like a dog.
Here is my formal written notice, if I ever get sick like a dog and start leaving shit or puke piles all over the house, in my bed and on the carpet, like my dogs, then you have permission to choose one of the following options;
Tie me up outside
Move me & my nasty bed outside
Hose me down, while on the tie out in yard
scream, yell, and be pushed to tears as you look at my pitiful ass watching you clean MY mess
Limit my food until my “illness” is cleared up
That being said, I am sick as….Miranda. I am miserable and in pain. Now, feel sorry for me, tell me it’s ok, we understand and tell me to go get some rest! Watch my kids while I sleep this horrible illness off!
You’re right, who wants to be sick as a dog, to true. Hope you’re better soon. Following you from Monday Blog Hop. http://twistedmummy.blogspot.com/“
