Fantastic book! Great start to a series! Cornwell is excellent at keeping you in the “just one more chapter” mind set! After reading her profile I understand how she was able to create such intense plots with such amazing description of the forensic process and world. Kay Scarpetta is a forensic pathologist and is the Chief Medical Examiner for the state of Virginia. She works closely with the police department and investigators to solve the latest murder. Very intriguing. I can’t wait to make my way through the whole Scarpetta series! Murder/Mystery, MUST READ! Excellent book, highly recommended!
