Sherman Family Lazy Day

  Yesterday was an awesome day! Friday night had been a long night due to a late nap for Zane. Brody and I ended up sleeping on the rocking chair together after we had rocked ourselves to sleep watching That 70’s Show Season One. Early Saturday morning Chris came down and brought Zane, Brody & I upstairs to sleep. At some point Chris crawled back in bed and we ended up sleeping until 2 in the afternoon! I LOVED it! What a way to relax. Chris shoulder has really been bugging him and he has caught a cold so the more rest he gets the better. Marissa and Veronica had spent a good portion of the day watching Glee, a show I had never watched or even cared to watch, but I LOVE listening to it while I go about my day. I don’t know if it happens every episode but the ones I could hear they sure did sing a lot of the songs that I grew up listening to. A lot of 80’s and early 90’s. I even heard Salt N Peppas Push it, heard some Montel Jordan, Queen, CCR and more. I could care less about the plot and the story line but the music was fun. Marissa and Veronica got the room cleaned up and organized, all the chores were completed and then after supper we had movie night. We all sat around watching Uncle Buck and snacking on Doritios, peanuts and M&M’s. After the kids went to bed we continued movie marathon and watched Burlesque (again for me) and Cadillac Records. I finally went to bed around 2 am. This morning I wasn’t able to sleep in as long since I had to get up and get the roast ready and put it in the crock-pot. Later my Mom comes back to town after a weekend with my Grandparents visiting and spending time with my Uncle Tom. As I am sitting here reading this I realize just how boring this post is and I have no pictures to go along with it so, enjoy this cute video and have a laugh! Until next time…..  ~Miranda~

    I’ve never watched Glee, haven’t fancied it, but my daughter has the Glee app on the iPad and loves it.
