Let me first start by saying HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! I try to make it an exciting time in our family, trying to keep the kids excited about their Irish heritage, well a portion of their heritage. They also have some Icelandic, Norwegian, German and Lithuanian in our melting pot. Leslie decided he was going to wear a Minnesota Vikings jersey to school and when I pointed it out to him this morning he proceeded to tell me he wants to be pinched..ugh! whatever! The rest of us donned green for the day and were proud of it!
   The weather the past couple days has been so drab, cloudy and wet. I need some sunshine! I love when the sun glares in through the windows! I love walking into the front porch to let the dogs out and having to stand back squinting while waiting for them to come in. I hope it shows back up again soon!
   It has been pretty quiet around here the past couple days. The only major event was Zane going potty! Yes I said it, Zane finally pooped on the potty! A major step and milestone for us! I am thrilled! He even got off the seat turned around lifted the lid and said in a deep pretend voice “thank you for the poop” hahahahaha that little boy cracks me up! He has such an amazing outgoing personality! He is so colorful and has the best imagination I have EVER seen! He truly is a riot! I hat to cut this post short but we are going to have a family movie night and I need to do some reading. I am hoping to have 2 new book reviews by the end of the weekend!
